Barnes Children's Literature Festival

With over sixty events for families to enjoy, there is something on offer for all ages at London’s largest dedicated children’s book festival, including author talks, workshops, story time and craft sessions, music, film and much, much more.

This year’s star-studded line-up includes Michael Rosen, Nick Sharratt, Francesca Simon, Steve Cole, Lauren St John, Guy Parker-Rees and Sarah McIntyre, plus TV and radio stars Adrian Edmondson, David Baddiel, Clare Balding, Lucy Worsley and Christian O'Connell, plus many more.

There are extra special events from illustrators Judith Kerr, Axel Scheffler and Tony Ross, and plenty of theatre to enjoy, with a Harry Potter show, Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes set to live music, and an exclusive screening of I Want My Hat Back, based on the award-winning picture book. Aardman Animation, the Oscar-winning creators of Wallace & Gromit, Morph and Shaun the Sheep will also be offering hands-on workshops.

The festival takes place at venues on and around Barnes Pond, SW13.
