Join us for an exhibition gallery tour followed by a boat cruise up the River Lea to Springfield Park, Clapton. (Limited 10 spaces available)

A chance to join a guided tour of the Raw Materials exhibition at the Nunnery Gallery, exploring the industrial heritage of the River Lea through the material wood. Explore a fascinating collection of objects, from furniture and film to the tools craftsmen used, together with newly commissioned sculpture from resident artist Silke Dettmers and especially crafted cabinets from Building Crafts College students. Then travel the waterway that inspired Raw Materials, the River Lea, seeing the traces of our industrial past along the way.
