Neon Naked, the new and unique life drawing experience is to hold classes on a regular basis from 1st May. The classes will be held every two weeks at The Duke of Wellington pub in Balls Pond Rd, London, from 7.30pm – 9.30pm.
The move comes after recent features in the London Evening Standard and Time Out caused sell-out sessions over the Easter break. Artist and Neon Life organiser Jylle Navarro had to apologise for turning away would-be participants as demand outstripped space available.
“We are introducing a regular session so everyone can let loose their inner creative,” said Jylle. “The chance to experiment with colour, light and texture seems to have hit a chord with people interested in developing their skills or just having some fun, so we thought a regular date would allow more people to join in.”
The Neon Naked experience specializes in creating unusual and creative designs by using vibrant and bold living sculptures, and by combining industrial UV light and reactive body paints with hand crafted flamboyant accessories. Classes at the Duke cost £12 a session; all art supplies are provided including UV reactive pastels in all colours.
Would be life drawers should contact Jylle at [email protected] or call 07511-163595. But be warned; naked means just that.

More on Jylle Navarro: Jylle began Neon Naked in 2016 as an idea to combine her creations with an interactive arts class displayed on the human form.
Jylle is a designer of alternative knitwear, print design and sculpture, specialising in UV reactive materials and unusual silhouettes. Recently her work has been seen at Berlin Alternative Fashion Week and Brighton Fashion Week, as well as Boomtown and Secret Garden Party Festivals.
In September Jylle will begin a Masters at St Martins in Art and Science where she plans to continue her experimental work with colour and light.
