The Spit and Sawdust pub in SE1 will be hosting a FREE Beer Festival over the second Bank Holiday in May (Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th).

Get ready for two days of Beer, Music, Street Food, Shuffleboard and Arcade games. There will be over 30 Beers to choose from and due to its close proximity to the Bermondsey Beer Mile; many local Breweries, such as, Four Pure, Brew By Numbers, Partizan, Anspach & Hobday and Southwark Brewing will be available.

Mouth watering street food, including ‘2 Fingers’ – the self styled Fish Finger bad boys who make the ultimate fish finger sandwich – will have stalls in the Beer Garden. Adjacent to the food stalls is the Arcade Caravan, complete with over fifteen old school arcade games.

A number of Live Bands, such as, Alice Phelps and The Gator Dog Snappers will be taking to the stage giving the crowd anything from Jazz and Blues to Rock and Folk. And after the last live act finishes, people with their dancing shoes at the ready can get their boogie on, to the sounds of DJ’s Domzilla and Tim, playing anything from New Order to Dizzee Rascal!

The event kicks off at 12 midday and runs until 12 midnight both days. Warning: Children not accompanied by their parents and dogs not on leashes will be sold to the circus. See you there.
