The beat of the Bushstock Festival returns once again to Shepherd’s Bush on Saturday 10 June 2017. For the seventh year running, venues across W14 will be buzzing with the sound of amps being turned up, including ‘The Courtyard’ at K West Hotel & Spa.
Located centrally in Shepherd’s Bush, K West Hotel & Spa’s rich musical heritage makes it the must-see venue of Bushstock 2017. Formerly the BBC Recording Studio Kensington House in the 70s and 80s, an endless list of Rock ‘N’ Roll royalty has stayed, played and misbehaved at K West – Bob Marley and the Wailers, Bowie and The Kinks to name a few. Since becoming a hotel, the venue has continued to strike a chord with musicians.
Where better to have all the fun of a festival, without getting muddy?
‘The Courtyard’ will house a main stage and bar designed by professional artists, where headlining gigs will kick-off from 1pm and play until 9.30pm. As if that wasn’t enough, K West will also be hosting a late night DJ set from 12am to 3am. Once the official after-party at the Defectors Weld wraps up at midnight, Studio Bar will open its doors to continue the party until the early hours.
The Library will also undergo a summer makeover, transforming into the ‘Festival Hub’ from Saturday 10 June until Thursday 31 August. Whether you’re a Bestival-Boy or Glasto-Girl, the Festival Hub will get you prepped for your summer: deck-chairs, bean bags, a grass carpet and flamingos – what else!
