Impromptu Shakespeare create an entirely new Shakespeare play, improvised on the spot and inspired by audience suggestions. They have their tongues firmly in cheeks and their feet planted in the works of the Bard. Whether you know all 37 plays – or none – this is the show for you. Join them for an hour of riotous fun as the cast buckle on the Bard’s britches to bring you the plays he never wrote.

Broadway Baby

Award-winning improvisers The Maydays present Happily Never After: a dark and twisted musical tale inspired by the warped imaginations of film director Tim Burton (Edward Scissorhands) and The Brothers Grimm. The Maydays take you to mysterious worlds, meeting the grotesque and the innocent, and weave a fantastical tale that’s different every time. With black comedy, dynamic physicality, a bespoke cinematic soundtrack and skin-prickling songs, Happily Never After is a playful, creepy and delightfully dark experience.

“Happily Never After is hilarious. Catch it if you can!” – Colin Mochrie (Whose Line Is It Anyway?)
