An hour long drama comedy about the underbelly of Irish Dancing. It's the antidote to 'Riverdance'.
Raw rhythms, tall tales, arse-clenching comedy.
Written & performed by Maire Clerkin, directed by Dan O'Connor, 'The Bad Arm: Confessions of a Dodgy Irish Dancer' has toured New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Vancouver, Dublin, and had a hugely successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe. Finally coming to London, where it is set, as part of the Camden Fringe.
"Excellent entertainment exposing the cut-throat world of Irish dancing with LOL humour and pathos" - Val McDermid, writer & broadcaster
Best of Fest - Hollywood Fringe
Critic's Pick - Backstage
"It's the deep dish from the real deal" NY Irish Arts
"Plenty of laughs" - Time Out, Chicago
"A virtuoso performance" - Four and a half stars, The Public Reviews, Edinburgh Fringe
