Dennis & Gnasher take over West London’s iconic skate park
In the run up to the release of the brand new kids TV show, Dennis & Gnasher Unleashed, the Beano favourites are taking over BAYSIXTY6 and challenging young daredevils to take to their boards and learn Dennis’ signature skating moves. Kicking off on Saturday 9th September and running over the course of eight weeks, Beano will take over the beginners’ skate session every Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm, helping first timers find their feet with a little help from Dennis and co.
Reimagined in CGI for 2017, 10-year-old rascal Dennis, and his indestructible sidekick Gnasher, live in a world bursting with board based adventures alongside their pals in Beanotown. Aspiring Tony Hawks and Rob Dyrdeks will be guided through the Beano characters’ daring moves in a beginners’ masterclass at BAYSIXTY6. Open to kids aged 6 years old and upwards, experts will put budding boardriders through their paces, teaching the principles of control as well as killer kickflips and gnarly noseslides.
Home to West London’s leading undercover skate park, BAYSIXTY6 is the ideal spot for little rippers to perfect their skating skills. The BAY will be dressed in Dennis’ signature stripes with comics and goodies up for grabs for those attending; the weekly beginners sessions hosted by professional coaches are set to be BLAMTASTIC!
Running from 9th September until 4th November, including a weeklong skate camp across the October half term, Dennis and Gnasher’s skate school takeover will provide plenty of opportunities for soon to be shredders to hone their heelflips.
