Absent Kelly Presents – Introducing: The Twist UK

Full Line Up: The Twist UK, Daniel Adam, LeahJay & Festo K, Anusha, Soph Retief

We’re bringing the funk, soul, pop and R&B to Surya this September, with a load of very talented emerging artists!

Topping the bill are The Twist UK. This five piece from London fuse elements of pop, r&b, funk and jazz to create something unique and sublime. They may be relatively new to the scene, but their sound is already turning heads on the underground circuit!

Brighton based Electronic Duo Daniel Adam bring their own brand of Dark Anthems, Cinematic Soundscapes and Techno Trance to the stage. Their music has been featured in TV and Film, by the BBC and has also been performed in clubland across the globe.

LeahJay & Festo K will be there too. Having already formed a strong sound and image for herself, LeahJay has now collaborated with Festo K to take her infectious R&B sound to a whole new level!

Also joining us is Anusha, a London based songstress who is combining her love of music and poetry to create beautiful, meaningful music.

Opening the show is Soph Retief, a singer-songwriter who specialises in catchy pop, a sound that saw her win MTV’s Project Aloft Star in 2016.
