This walk is an official part of the Bloomsbury Festival. Supporting the festival’s theme of Independence, our walk commemorates 70 years of independent India, taking us to a number of sites in Bloomsbury connected to the history and culture of India. Also included are free guided tours of two exhibitions - Behind the Indian Boom - Adivasis and Dalits in Contemporary India at the Brunei Gallery, and Journey to Independence: India, Pakistan and Bangladesh at the LSE Library. The walk will last 2 ½ hours starting at Central Saint Giles and ending at the London School of Economics.
25 places only.
Duration: 150 minutes
Booking is required and admission to the walk is by ticket only.
