The third annual festival is being held from 17-27 October in the ward of Earls Court in central London, and this year visitors can expect to travel on an extraordinary cinematic journey through the full spectrum of the short film genre. From sci-fi to dark comedy, thrillers to romance, ECFF 2017’s films are as unique as they are entertaining.

In total, we will have 22 short films on show, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. This year we have co-produced five new Earls Court short films, with some of Britain’s brightest new film makers. Our principal filming locations have been within the landscapes in and around Earls Court.

There are, of course, other shorts on show. 13 short film submissions from the UK, Europe, Asia and the US will be screened, three of which will be chosen to go through to the grand finale and winners awards ceremony at St Cuthbert’s Church on 27 October.

We will also be screening two special documentaries and two community shorts.
