House of Vans presents: Vans x QQ Speed The Takeover

Upholding Vans' commitment to celebrate cross-cultural creativity worldwide, on the 11th of November Vans Asia & House of Vans will host a day-through-to-night celebration of skateboarding, art, music and street culture, bringing a killer mix of oriental and western style to the Waterloo tunnels.

The evening programme features live music from Spring King, Croox DJ, The Hotline and Neo Retro preceded by a whole host of daytime activations to keep everyone entertained:

Art:
Vans' Asian Culture & Art Exhibition will unveil an unparalleled showcase of Vans Asia items that embody the continent's culture & uniqueness. These will include the Chinese Zodiac Series designed by Vans Asia product designers since 2013 and the Hi-Monster Series by Chinese independent illustrator Panda Mei.

Visitors can also sample a collaborative Tee Series created by Vans Asia artists and the works of visual artist ZINAN, showcasing his interpretation of 'Off The Wall'.

Workshops:
For the first time ever, Vans Asia will bring the Custom Culture program to the tunnels with the shoe designs from the finalists of the 2017's Vans Asia Custom Culture Competition on showcase and a DIY Paper Shoes workshop if you feel like getting crafty.

Skateboarding:
Get ready for 4 uninterrupted hours of House of Vans Skate school if you wished to learn the tricks of the trade with the best instructors in London. Plus expect live demos from Vans Pro Skaters from Europe & China.

Film:
If you need some rest from all the hustle and bustle, put your feet up in the 100-seat cinema room as House of Vans roll out a film series produced by Vans Asia.
