Keep the Lights On - Christmas Cabaret!

Fancy a fabulous evening of festive fun? Well look no further than our Keep The Lights On Christmas Cabaret Fundraiser. Expect a sparkling cabaret of music, dance and dazzling snow business as we transform our beautiful Grade II listed building into a festive spectacular complete with mulled wine, mince pies AND a Christmas raffle. Of course, what festive treat would be complete without a competition for the ‘Best Christmas jumper’? Wear yours to be in with a chance to win free tickets to the Space for a whole year!

Our confirmed acts are:-

The Underground Clown Club – Two fools take to the stage to lead you on a poetic journey through the most surreal, silly and forgotten parts of your imagination.

Georgie Jones tells lyrical stories with honesty, charisma and wit; her performance style was once described as ‘delightfully dry’ which, for someone who sports a sweaty palm more often than not, she will take as a compliment.

Maria Hurtz – a German showgirl, ex-Cirque De Sol and now Cabaret Artist. She brings song, lip-sync and a little bit of saucy Burlesque.

Jacinta Hunter – burlesque artist

Simon Elliot – stand-up comedy

Elinor Fortune – acoustic set

Every penny raised will go directly towards replacing the rapidly failing lighting in our auditorium. It is vital that we achieve this to ensure that audiences, artists and the local community who use and rely on this theatre can continue to do so.
