Trinity Laban’s Side by Side series brings together student talent with professional mentors from the Philharmonia, sharing their expertise and skills.

Mahler’s 1888 Totenfeier was later reworked as the first movement of his Second Symphony, known as ‘The Resurrection Symphony’ for its celebration of the afterlife. Wagner’s Prelude to Die Meistersinger, his opera based on 16th century master singers, completes this Germanic double bill.
