History and design lovers are invited to immerse themselves in the world of William Morris, the C19 visionary socialist, author, designer of wallpaper & fabrics, who lived for 18 years by the river at Hammersmith. The free guided tour will take walkers through his life in Hammersmith and provide an opportunity to enjoy a private visit to the museum in what was once the Morrises’ kitchen.
The walk starts at 11am and will finish with drinks at a local Hammersmith pub.
The HammersmithLondon guided walks are one-hour tours conducted by blue badge guides exploring the rich history and heritage of Hammersmith.
The walks take place every first weekend of the month and are free to all HammersmithLondon Privilege Card holders. More information on the walks and how you can apply for a Privilege Card can be found on the HammersmithLondon website.
