Full Line Up: Cash Cassettes, The Palpitations, Antonia-Kate, Ephebe

Promoters Absent Kelly return to their original home, Brixton Jamm for the first instalment of The Brixton Beat.

Cash Cassettes are our headliners for the evening. This four-piece band, based in London have played in previous bands in the US, UK, and Italy, and have taken this previous experience to create this unique new project. The band combine indie-rock rhythms with jazzy harmonies to create something really special.

Providing support are The Palpitations, a hotly tipped grungy indie/rock band from Luton, who combine elements from influences such as Nirvana and The Smiths, to create their signature sound. They may be relatively new to the scene, but we can see big things on the horizon for them.

We'll also be joined by talented singer-songwriter Antonia-Kate. The Guildford based songstress mixes elements of folk, pop and indie to create something truly infectious! She's currently working on a lot of new music, and we can't wait to hear it!

Ephebe will be there too. Ephebe produces creative and unique work, and dubs himself "medieval folk music meets light indie". Despite being relatively new on the scene, he's already started bagging some great reviews.
