Rumi's Cave & Rachel Rose Reid (Yelala) present a celebration of Mimouna. Delicious devotion!

There was a time when whole festivals spontaneously rose up simply because Jews and Muslims were neighbours.
Mimouna - which this year falls on 8 April - was celebrated between North African Jewish and Muslim neighbours, marking the end of Passover, sharing bread and making prayers for rain to fall in the growing season ahead. And there would be such fabulous heart-soaring music. So, here we are co-creating a new celebration in North London!
