Join us for an evening of live readings and audience Q&As with shortlisted authors from this year's International Dylan Thomas Prize, just a few days before this year’s winner is announced.

The annual International Dylan Thomas Prize in partnership with Swansea University is the largest and one of the most prestigious awards for young writers aged 39 and younger. Encouraging raw creative talent worldwide and celebrating international literary excellence, the prize awards £30,000 to the best published literary work in the English language written by an author aged 39 or under. The 2017 winner was Fiona Macfarlane for her critically acclaimed collection of short stories, The High Places.

This year's shortlisted writers are Kayo Chingonyi, Gwendoline Riley, Sally Rooney, Emily Ruskovich, Gabriel Tallent and Carmen Maria Machado. Join us for an evening of literary discovering with some of the world's hottest young writers.
