Kentish Town City Farm welcomes one and all to our annual May Day Event!

May Day is a celebration of springtime and the flowering of life, traditionally celebrated by the Celts as ‘Beltane’ to welcome the return of the sun. At Kentish Town City Farm we keep this tradition alive with our very own annual celebration!

There will be a wide range of fun and festive activities that all the family can enjoy including face painting, badge making and recycled art, all to the sound of a live band playing throughout the day. There will be home-made cakes on sale, savoury delicacies baked by our very own volunteers, a barbeque with free-range sausages and you must try our very own production of honey! Meet our four-legged farmyard friends and earn a certificate in goat grooming, as well as taking part in our new games area in the riding school.

As well as making the day our own, we like to keep the old traditions alive with the chance for your children to dance around the Maypole. The Kentish Town City Farm May Day is a day at the farm like no other!
