On Monday 14th May, for one day only, Kelly’s of Cornwall is inviting people to the Southbank to taste authentic Cornish street food with a sweet twist… the world’s first ‘Kelly’s Ice Cream Pasty’ or, as it’s been coined already, The Cone-ish Pasty will be unveiled. Much like a Cornish Pasty, but better! Sweet-filled crumbly pastry, which works like an ice cream cone, holds the crowning glory - Kelly’s of Cornwall’s creamy ice cream, full of clotted cream and Cornish milk.

TV chef, Kelly’s ice cream sommelier and Cone-Ish Pasty inventor, James Strawbridge will be there – he has brought together two of the best tastes of Cornwall. Ice cream… and pasties! It’s a taste explosion like no other – and there are three ‘Cone-ish Pasty’ variations available to try:

• Cream Tea Cone-ish Pasty with Kelly’s Berry Eton Mess Ice Cream. Yes, with real scone pieces and strawberry jam are inside!
• Spiced Apple & Date Crumble Cone-ish Pasty with new Kelly’s Butterscotch Pecan ice cream. This pasty features a crumble cone top. Just heaven.
• Red Velvet Cone-ish Pasty with Kelly’s Clotted Cream Ice Cream. Dark chocolate, cherries and clotted cream makes the perfect sweet finish.

In the name of authenticity, we’ll be bringing Cornwall to London (beach huts, surf boards and even a cow) – so you can enjoy The Cone-ish Pasty in its Motherland without leaving the city!
