So, which is better meat or fish?

Tough question?

Well, you’re in luck as foodie event Meat vs Fish is being held on the 23 May 2018 at Flat Iron Square where a conclusion will be made!

The Change Group is bringing together some of London’s finest restaurants, half cooking meat dishes and half cooking fish dishes, as they compete to see who the overall winner will be – meat or fish.

This year’s line-up includes:

Simon Cotterill from Hawksmoor
James Brown from Polpo
Sam White from Hixter
Joe Sharratt from The Other Naughty Piglets
Jenny Warner from The Thomas Cubitt
Oliver Gladwin from Nutbourne Restaurant
Olly Bird from Zelman Meats
Richard Kirkwood from The Wright Brothers
Mike Blizzard - The Halfmoon (Fullers)
Josh Niemiec from Leap

Only the finest ingredients are being used for the event as the chefs will be focusing on sustainability and British sourced produce. On this year ’s menu, there will be dishes from a “Dirty Steak” to Devon Crab.

All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Hospitality Action, a charity that offers vital assistance to those who work or have worked within UK hospitality and who find themselves in crisis.

Hospitality Action supports people suffering from physical and mental life-changing illnesses and helps people who are experiencing poverty, domestic violence, addiction, legal or financial difficulty and bereavement. In 2017 the charity spent almost £750k supporting over 2,000 hospitality workers in need of help, and just under £70k per year was used to help hospitality workers in London.
