Two millennial tech upstarts are creating a social media 'buzz' image-boosting app that, if they want to keep their jobs, simply must be the bee's knees. Luckily, they have an idea, which is fine until it grows arms and legs and an insatiable thirst for internet fame and world domination.

Frankenstein meets The Office in this stinging farce packed with rap and informative bee facts that asks just how much our ideas belong to us, and perhaps how much we belong to them.

In the wake of the emerging scandals surrounding Mark Zuckerberg and Cambridge Analytica's profitable use of our personal data, in a time when the verified couldn't be further from the truth and endless privacy policies invade our personal space, we opted in to explore:

o Can true originality really exist in an online hive mind? o How much ownership do we have on what we let loose on the internet?
o Just how funny is a bloke sat in a fluffy bee costume for an hour?

This is Playful Intentions' third original farcical comedy for the Camden Fringe having previously enjoyed successful sell-out runs with 'Road safety: the not Musical' in 2016 at the Etcetera, and 'Arketypal' in 2017 at the Monkey House. PITCo was founded by Exeter University English and Drama graduates, making its debut at Exeter's T3 and Poltimore Festivals. We are based in both Devon and North East London, and soon to be New York. We seek to create absurd original comedy that intends to ask uncomfortably relevant questions through the guise of the playful immunity of theatre.
