Two and a half years after they broke into the wider consciousness with the launch of "Possession", Chaos Theory presents the defiant fireball that is Vodun, who are back with their new album "Ascend".

--------------------------
Vodun

Ten slabs of ground-flattening, groove-inflected rock power, driven by the Afro-inspired dervish drums of Zel Kaute (interpreting the spirits of Ogoun), the roaring, fierce chromium guitars of Linz Hamilton (The Marassa), and fronted by the fire-breathing howl of frontwoman Chantal Brown (Oya), delivering you the truth of generations with a drive and focus that can’t be matched.

Towering over the foundations of of their debut album, Vodun return to the city that forged them after touring Europe, sharing the stage with bands including Amenra, Turbowolf, The Picturebooks, Steak, Orange Goblin, Witchsorrow, Masiro and Uncle Acid and the deadbeats, and taking part in Desertfest London, Hellfest, Afrompunk Festival and Desertfest Belgium.

With an ever-clearer vision and sound to respond to the ominous political shifts occurring around the globe, this is the trio's most ferocious war-cry to date.

"A wholly unique and positively electrifying take on heavy metal-tinged, hard-charging afro-psych" - Noisey

"Consistently raising the bar" - Afropunk

--------------------------
Bruxa Maria

Playing either as a trio or four-piece, Bruxa Maria hit back hard against the dismal world band leader Gill Dread sees around her, by playing politically-charged punk, sludge and noise, with a powerful focus that levels all. Featuring electronic noise generator Mark Dicker.

They've been well received at Supernormal Festival and when supporting Terminal Cheesecake, Hey Colossus and Casual Nun and we can't wait to see them back again in London.

"Sublimely furious" - The Quietus

"Full of smart twists and turns." - Echoes And Dust

--------------------------
The Hyena Kill

A Manchester-based duo, playing pure hard rock, mixed in with elements of noise, groove metal and post-hardcore.

Having already secured slots at Download Festival and Portals this year, The Hyena Kill sit comfortably in lineups in the metal, doom, indie and math rock scenes, so one guaranteed to go down well with fans of tonight.
