What does it take to find your own voice in amongst all of the noise? How can you re-connect with yourself & those around you? In partnership with Shoreditch Town Hall - BRIT award winner turned mental health campaigner Will Young joins us for an insightful talk on his own story. Through the trials & tribulations of battling mental health issues, learning how to overcome them, and how to feel 'connected' again in an increasingly dis-connected world.

During his illustrious career to date, Will underwent a journey of self-discovery and overcame and worked hard to resolve a serious illness which impacted his mental health; leading him to continue his journey of helping others by way of talks and forums on wellbeing, conflict resolution, anxiety and on how to lead a content and fulfilling life.

Part of this is focused on helping others to find their voice, learn how to help themselves and to truly connect.

As a successful musician, performer, podcaster and motivational public speaker, Will Young has been in the public eye for over 17 years, collecting multi-platinum albums, sold-out live tours, various awards including two Brits and an Olivier Award nomination in the process. Having written four biographies and appeared in a musical adaptation of Baz Luhrmann’s award-winning film ‘Strictly Ballroom’,

Will was also named in The Observer’s Best 10 podcasts for ‘Homo Sapiens’ which features interviews with a wide range of personalities discussing LGBTQ+ issues which he presents with director Chris Sweeney.
