Care to Taste: Starfish Charitabe Wine Tasting Event

Taste your way through wines of the world and make a difference to orphaned and vulnerable children in South Africa.

Arouse your inner wine connoisseur at an intimate after-work wine tasting hosted by Investec in the heart of the City. The Care to Taste Starfish Wine Tasting event, organised by Starfish Greathearts Foundation, will raise funds to provide life-saving healthcare to South Africa’s most vulnerable children.

Guests will spend an evening sniffing, swirling and savouring a selection of 12 wines from all around the world complimented with an array of delicious cheese boards. Sparkling wine is offered upon arrival, followed by a guided tasting to fully involve the senses. Guests can then try their luck at winning a magnum of Champagne by taking part in a blind-tasting quiz.

Money raised on the night will go toward funding Starfish’s Wellness Wagons in South Africa. These mobile clinics ensure the physical, mental and social well-being of children living in rural areas. For as little as £5.50, each child is provided with a ‘top to toe’ check-up, as well as other important services including immunisations, testing for HIV, TB and checking for malnutrition.
