About the event

Stress and anxiety are now at alarming rates in our society, with many of us leading increasingly busy and hectic lifestyles. Last year according to reports, 74% of us has experienced severe stress at some point. This July, triyoga Camden is hosting a stress and anxiety workshop with renowned therapist and Kundalini yoga teacher Carolyn Cowan. Over the weekend of 20th and 21st July, Carolyn will run a series of specialist workshops whereby guests will learn how their own stress system works, as well as how to manipulate their breath to achieve a state of deep relaxation. They will also learn how to breath to release oxytocin and ‘feel good’ chemicals into the body and adjust their own stress levels. The aim of the workshop is for guests to leave feeling calm and rejuvenated, and equipped with variety of breathing techniques that they can then practise at home, at work or after a long day to relax and find some piece of mind.
