Carnival at Squeg & Bonez

On the 24th and 25th of August, Squeg & Bonez will be donning their feathers and brining a splash of colour to Mare Street with two days of Carnival celebrations.

From 17:00 – 21:00, the kitchen team headed by brilliant chef Holly O’Leary (aka Bonez) will be serving a special Caribbean-inspired vegan menu with colourful and vibrant dishes including:
- Salt Roast Yams with Pineapple Curry Sauce
- Jerked Aubergine with a Crunchy Lime Salad
- Mini Patties with Tamarind and Mango
- Jamaican Ginger Cake with Salted Rum Caramel

Alongside the food, and served until 1am, will be two special-edition cocktails created by Alice (aka Squeg), inspired by the duo’s mums. Lou Lou is Your Muma is a Cold Brew Bahama Mama, and Ange’s Tropical Tipple a Tropical Deluxe Pale Ale Punch.

On the night will be Squeg & Bonez’s resident DJ playing the best carnival classics, and the tables will be pushed aside to create a dance floor perfect for samba-ing the night away to.
