Exhibition - The Tufnell Park Group

The Tufnell Park Group consists of six artists and photographers from Tufnell Park and nearby. Recently they decided to team up to hold a joint exhibition at Lauderdale House.

Gilly Hatch’s paintings grow out of her home surroundings, travels and long walks on the Heath. Fred Kavalier takes photographs wherever he is, in London, Cape Cod, or travelling the world as a courier for Anthony Nolan (The proceeds of the sale of his photos will all go to Anthony Nolan). Photographer Jess Norgrove’s interest has been in abandoned properties (including many visits to Chernobyl, though she’s not dangerously radioactive), and has now moved to photography of London at night. Gilly Lethbridge, Alison Richards and Jenny Stoker are the students of the group – they specialise in small scale paintings of still life as well as observations made on their travels.
