A one-day festival taking place on 21 September 2019, celebrating the International Day of Peace. This global arts and cultural platform will engage in the most urgent issues of peace and conflict around the world.
Five of the world's leading peace organisations, Conciliation Resources, International Alert, Mercy Corps, Peace Direct and Saferworld invite you to join them in celebrating peacebuilding through an exciting variety of events. Festival highlights range from panel discussions, to film screenings, to interactive Virtual Reality experiences, to art and dance workshops, to photography exhibitions, to Spoken Word, to live music from the Congolese dance band, Zong Zing!
The fifth annual Talking Peace Festival is extra special, as in 2019 we are the UK's flagship event for the first ever global Peacebuilding Action Week.
