The mission of the London Eco-Film Festival is:

To Inform, Excite and Inspire

Creative media, such as film, photography, theatre, music and storytelling, cannot only make us feel uplifted and happy in the moment, but also has the potential to inspire empathy, perspective taking, compassion, human virtues, and equality, and potentially also make us feel connected to the world around us.

LEFF will act to facilitate communication in order to enable a greater understanding of the struggles of, and roles that, people around the world play in promoting environmental protection and conservation. We also believe that real change in society and the way we behave as individuals can only change through an adequate understanding of all the underlying social issues and perspectives involved.
