On Sunday 8th December, Connaught Village is bringing even more joy to the festive season with ‘The Cuddle Club’, offering guests an instant mood boost by bringing in their ‘Dog Squad’ to spend time with for the afternoon.
For the dog lovers that aren’t able to look after their own pet, the event is brought to you by The Cuddle Club. Lucky visitors will be able to pre-book their session to spend some time with a range of dogs, big and small, at Porchester Place in the heart of Connaught Village.
Whilst in the area, make sure to browse in the collection of excellent retail stores, perfect for Christmas shopping. Connaught Village is the Hyde Park Estate's premium retail quarter, one of London’s best spots for restaurants, bars, pubs, premium art galleries and exhibitions. It is also one of the most dog friendly London villages. The canine friendly community even welcomes dogs in residential leases, with shops and cafes also happy to host man’s best friend.
The Cuddle Club was created by Aneka Johnson, also co-founder of London Dog Week, who was inspired after seeing the wellbeing benefits of caring for a pet when suffering ill health, the purpose was to promote the healing effects that dogs have on humans which led to launch The Cuddle Club.
Since then, The Cuddle Club has been popping up at companies all across London, with people in the workplace benefiting from the therapeutic benefits of dogs.
