In honour of St Valentine’s Day, the Candlelight Club, London’s award-winning immersive 1920s-themed speakeasy party, brings you a special event in a new, exotic venue—the 1920s house party of your dreams. Across three floors of an opulent town house in the heart of London (a stone’s throw from Oxford Circus) we present a feast for the senses.

In the first floor Ballroom there will be live music from Champagne Charlie and his Bubbly Boys, raising the rafters as they inspire you to cut a rug.

On the ground floor we have the Cabaret of Desire, a variety show hosted by Weimar androgyne Victor Victoria, with burlesque from Ruby Deshabillé, comedy magic from Christian Lee and feats of balancing and juggling from Ian Marchant.

In the cellars our DJs Aila and Holly from the Bee's Knees will be pumping out vintage rhythms, while curtained crannies in the crypt hold fortune teller Lucius and sketch artist Daniela.

Instead of a sit-down dinner we offer sophisticated grazing as you drift from room to room—all included in the price. The ticket covers all the entertainment, a welcome glass of fizz plus canapés and bowl food during the event, and our bars will offer a further selection of wines, Champagne, cocktails and sprits, plus our famous Rum, Absinthe and Cigar Bar.

So allow us to whisk you away to a Jazz Age mansion party that Gatsby would be proud of, with a heady mix of live performance, vintage vinylism, delicious cocktails and a party crowd all dressed up in their finest 1920s outfits, inhibitions loosened away from the prying eyes of Prohibition agents.

Guests receive an email with the location and other details two days before the event.
