Organized by Music-at-Hill Midtown Concerts.
Works by Beethoven and Mussorgsky.
A profound and intimate Masterpiece of the late Beethoven gives the opening to the concert, the Piano Sonata No. 30 in E major Op. 109, which features a free approach to the traditional Sonata Form and is included as part of the composer´s 250th anniversary celebration. The stylistic counterpoint is provided by the stunning suite “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky. This recital will be performed by the pianist Uriel Pascucci.
