Concert Pianist, Utsav Lal, 17 yrs old has been credited with giving the piano lovers a slice of Indian Ragas and has taken Ragas on Piano to globally acclaimed heights.
Over 90 Piano concerts at worldwide prestigious venues & Festivals, Utsav has earned the title of “Raga Pianist” in music circles & has been extensively featured by both electronic & print media. The youngest nominee to win Ireland's multicultural MAMA Awards 2008, Utsav’s music has drawn huge universal appeal across Jazz, Western & Indian Classical music lovers.
After a hugely successful Piano Concert & Workshop Tour in India & Ireland, Utsav performs in London at the Southbank Centre on Sunday, Nov 8th, before moving on for a concert at Gothenburg, Sweden on Nov 13th, 2009.The evening has in store, a fascinating repertoire of Classical Indian Ragas. The Pianist presents classical compositions & spontaneous improvisations, set to the rhythmic time cycles of Tabla.

The concert is presented by Milapfest - the UK's premier South Asian Arts Development Trust commissioning and touring high quality arts events, throughout the year, nationally.
