If you've ever fancied giving Albarn, Ditto, Curtis, Cocker, Kapranos and the like a run for their money by fronting your own indie band then Indieoke is the place to do it.

Our AMAZING live band will take to the stage and belt out the indie classics,

for your pleasure, while you, the REAL stars, take turns in joining the band for one number at a time.

Our launch night in 2009 was a phenomenal success and past nights have sold out not long after opening the doors. With members of the audience taking their time to shine in the spotlight and belting out such monster songs as , There she goes, Take Me Out, Common People, Panic, 7 Nation Army, Hounds of Love, Love Will Tear Us Apart and Buddy Holly and many more! In fact, the songs kept coming all night in six song bursts, giving the assembled revelers time to catch their breath in-between the madness.

What better place to host this event than London’s coolest underground music venue, the Buffalo Bar?

Past nights have featured guest sets from Frank Sidebottom, Feeling Gloomy, My Ex Boyfriends Records and Bob Stanley (Saint Etienne).

After Indie-oke we dance until 4 to anything from Beastie Boys to Beyonce, Pet Shop Boys to Pulp and KLF to the Kings of Leon.
