Bloody Poetry is the story of three of English literature's most celebrated writers - Lord Byron, Percy Shelley and Mary Shelley - as they trail across and around Europe in a self-imposed exile from the moral constraints of middle-class England. It charts their great literary creations and terrible personal destructions as they each seek their own idea of a free and authentic life.
