The CoolTan Arts Community Legacy Walk ~ run by, and for, people enduring mental distress ~ celebrates the legacy of the 2012 Olympics throughout Hackney, Newham and Southwark.
If joining in to explore the impact of the Olympic spectacle on our community, whilst getting active and making new friends amongst like-minded people is for you, then we’re looking forward to having you with us on the CoolTan Arts Olympic Legacy Walks.
Walks start at 12 noon outside Hackney Museum, 1 Reading Lane, E8 1GQ (Nearest bus stop: Mare Street; Overground: Hackney Central).
We aim to make all walks accessible, however ongoing building works may affect accessibility, and some paths may be muddy or bumpy.
Walkers must take responsibility for making their own way home. We will look after you on the walk, but please wear sensible footwear, bring a packed lunch and enough drinking water. Duration: 3½ hours and ending in vicinity of Olympic Park.
