The award-winning, critically acclaimed TILTED PRODUCTIONS, led by Artistic Director, Maresa von Stockert, brings its highly entertaining, outdoor dance spectacle, ‘SEASAW’, (photo left by David Morris) to life on Brighton Beach on May 20th, at Greenwich and Docklands Festival on June 30th and at site-specific venues around the country.
Inspired by the relationship between humans and water, ‘SEASAW’ cleverly combines a trail of contemporary dance, performance art and physical theatre vignettes with water, humour, and outstanding performances from Tilted’s cast of seven dancers: Joss Carter, Eithne Kane, Adam Kirkland, Stephanie McMann, Simon Palmer, Beth Powlesland, and Ming-Hei Wong
Whether evoking childhood memories of waterside holidays or provoking thoughts on current environmental issues such as water pollution and global warming, SEASAW is entertaining, thought-provoking and challenging – a perfect piece of outdoor performance art to be enjoyed by audiences this summer.
SEASAW follows the highly successful tour of Masquerade (2011/12) and was performed for the first time in its developmental stage last year in Cromer, Norfolk.
