Olympic Festival at Hyde Park
27 Jul - 12 Aug

Snow Patrol, Stereophonics, Duran Duran and Paolo Nutini perform for the BT London Live Opening Ceremony Celebration Concert in Hyde Park on 27 July.

Free To Access days at Hyde Park 28th July - 11th August will offer the Olympic Games action live on giant screens, the largest of which measures at 144m², along with a fantastic array of other activities for the whole family to enjoy

Blur are the headline act for the Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert on 12 August, a unique event marking the end of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Joining Blur on this 'Best of British' line up will be New Order, The Specials and Bombay Bicycle Club.


Olympic festival at Victoria Park
27 Jul - 12 Aug

Victoria Park will show the best of the Olympic Games on three giant screens, the largest of which measures at 70m² plus, to ensure you don’t miss a moment of the sporting action, there will be a more intimate sports viewing experience in The Sun Pub.

The Have-A-Go Sports Zone will offer a range of professional Olympic and Paralympic sports participation and coaching experiences.

Live music across the 17 days includes Alexandra Burke, Soul II Soul, Norman Jay and Friends, Club de Fromage, Courtney Pine, Sean Rowley’s Guilty Pleasures, Slow Club, Sound of Latin London and more!

There will also be a number of attractions at the park that will have entry fees including the 55 metre high BT Observation Wheel, a 320-metre long zipline high above Victoria Park’s trees, bungee trampolines and freestyle swimming, where you don’t even need to get wet, thanks to the 64m2 water-zorbing pool.


Book Club Basecamp

Called pineberries because they have the appearance of a strawberry, just without the rich red colouring, and the taste of a pineapple, this little guys will be seen perched on the rims of glasses of fizz until the end of August


Paralympics at Trafalgar Square

BT London Live relocates to the iconic London landmark for the Paralympic Games, featuring Channel 4 coverage of the Games on a 60m² giant screen daily between 11am to 11.30pm.

Live Music continues to be a part of the BT London Live experience during the Paralympics, with a live music concert planned each evening.

Aspiring able-bodied and non able-bodied athletes alike will also be able to experience and try out a range of Paralympic sports in what will become one of the world’s most iconic sporting venues – albeit just for 12 days.
