Rhyme, Reason & Song

In aid of St. Bride's INSPIRE! Appeal, which aims to raise at least £1.5 million for essential repairs to the spire by December 2012 to prevent the closure of Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece, broadcaster Mike Read will be co-hosting an evening of musical entertainment at the church.

'Rhyme, Reason & Song': an evening of words & music, will see the renowned St Bride’s choir joined by the Escala String Quartet for a magical evening of classical music. This will be accompanied by a series of poetry recitals from leading works, read by broadcasters Nick Ferrari and Mike Read.

Donations raised through INSPIRE! Appeal will help ensure the future of this remarkable Grade I listed building, which is visited seven days a week by an active congregation of residents, local business people and visitors from around the world.
