March 2013 marks ten years since the opening of LSO St Luke’s, the London Symphony Orchestra’s music education centre and stunning Islington concert venue. To mark the occasion, LSO St Luke’s is hosting a twelve-day Festival, from 21 March to 1 April.

With 17 events packed into twelve days, there are endless ways to get involved in this celebration of all things musical. From live performances in all genres, to discovering more about what’s behind the music, and activities to entertain the whole family, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re into Brahms or Balinese gamelan!

BBC Radio 3 will broadcast chamber concerts live from the building, featuring artists including the Vienna Piano Trio and Nash Ensemble. The LSO’s world-leading education and community programme, LSO Discovery, will present interactive events, masterclasses and open days, showcasing participants of all ages from across the city. And it wouldn’t be a birthday party without special guests, so the award-winning Aurora Orchestra and middle-eastern jazzer and oud player Dhafer Youssef are also coming along for the ride.
