Back To Funk

Since Deep Funk closed at Madame Jo Jo's there has not been a dedicated Funk session in London.

"Back To Funk" attempts to redress the balance with two DJ's who created the 'Messin' Around" club session which ran for over 15 years every Saturday night at Camden's Jazz Cafe, Adrian Gibson & Perry Louis. "Back to Funk" takes it;s name from the Robert Lowe classic 45 on Eastbound ( check the clip below ).

Expect to hear funk in all it's forms, heavyweight Funk 45's, Latin Funk, African Funk, European Big Band Funk, Modern Funk. Check some of the tunes below to get an idea.
