John says: 'I like contrasts, juxtaposition and silliness, seriousness that is really just nonsense and nonsense that is supposed to be serious. My motivations vary but I suppose current events, mindless celebrity culture, mainstream brainwashing media and general upside down-ness are influences'.
John's funny, subversive and beautiful work has an extraordinary range. You can see a wide selection of it at SPACE art gallery from April 6th-May 3rd.
Also showing, 12 pieces from 'The Pure Products of America' kindly donated by artist Stephen Wright.
Private view: Saturday 6 April, 7-9PM (entry is free and no ticket is required. Please bring a bottle. All liquid donations will be shared equally amongst guests).
