Jacqui Dankworth is considered to be ‘one of the classiest acts in British jazz singing’ (The Guardian). Her highly acclaimed recordings to date have been stylistically diverse, incorporating elements of folk, blues and many other forms that have demonstrated her superb skill as an eclectic songwriter. In tonight’s concert she is supported by our own Cadogan Swing Orchestra, performing a selection of popular songs from musicals and film soundtracks, in her own inimitable style.

Including: On My Own (Les Misérables), Almost Like Being In Love (Brigadoon), What I Did For Love (A Chorus Line), Windmills of Your Mind (The Thomas Crown Affair), Speak Softly Love (The Godfather), Nature Boy (Moulin Rouge) plus many others which started life on the silver screen and have now become jazz standards: At Last, The Folks Who Live On The Hill, In the Still of the Night – and many more
