The Pig Club brings Monkfish from the Cornish sea to the plate of 100 guests that will be having a ball at its next pop up restaurant, Creole Super on the 18th April. Exploring hidden places in Hackney, the Pig Club will be holding the New Orleans themed event in a converted public baths, Hackney wick.
The multiple layers of flavour’ feast will be cooked by Fabiana Reis, a chef the partie at the Islington organic gastropub Duke of Cambridge. Fabiana and her crew will be joined by stand up comedians, musicians and a DJ with a fine rare record collection to entertain guests with a especial night. There will also be an art exhibition of illustrations by two local artists inspired on Louisiana’s most exciting city.
The Pig Club is making the most of the New Orleans' melting pot cuisine bringing to the plate Italian, French, West Indies influences using fresh British ingredients from suppliers who care about sustainability. Guests can expect many layers of flavours and surprising texture inspired on contemporary creole cuisine. The Pig Club is mostly seasonal and organic supporting sustainability! Suppliers include Bob Ring's crayfish, Cornish fisher Kernowsashimi and Sarah Greens.
