Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City, London’s biggest and best casino and the UK’s only Super Casino is launching a new series of comedy nights. Launching on Saturday 13 April in collaboration with The Comedy Shuffle’s top stand up comedian Ricky Grover, the weekly comedy nights will cement Aspers Super Casino as the ultimate night out.

From his early days as The 11 o’ Clock Show’s Bulla, to more recently Andrew Cotton on BBC’s Eastenders, former hairdresser and boxer Ricky Grover has certainly pulled no punches when it comes to heavyweight characters.

He is now returning as himself to his East End and Stand Up roots to present The Comedy Shuffle, a weekly Saturday night show featuring top acts including Omid Djalili and Tim Vine alongside the stars of tomorrow for the first ever comedy show at Aspers Super Casino, Westfield Stratford City.

The Comedy Shuffle will deliver the ultimate night out where punters can have a flutter, enjoy a meal, have a drink and a proper laugh in a spectacular venue. The launch night will feature Grover, Omid Djalili, Sean Collins, The Noise Next Door and Kane Brown.

Grover says, “I’m so proud to be from East London, and especially Stratford - it’s now one of the most exciting, vibrant places in the UK. The Olympics brought the best athletes from around the world alongside our own homegrown talent. Hopefully I can keep this trend going with The Comedy Shuffle, which will be mixing well-known acts alongside brand spanking new ones.

The aim is to keep it fresh by shuffling things around, with special themed nights including the monthly ‘Shuffle Showdown’ where a section of the show is dedicated to giving comers the opportunity to try their luck under the spotlight, their fate left in the hands of the audience who will decide whether they shuffle on or shuffle off.”

The next Comedy Shuffle night will be on 20 April at Aspers Casino with a line up from Glenda Jaxson, John Fothergill and a guest appearance from Tim Vine. MC for the night is Bob Mills.
