London vs The Suburbs: Where does the inspiration come from? is a debate on whether creative people find inner city or the urban hinterlands the most inspiring. We have a fantastic spekaer line-up including renowned singer/songwriter and political activist Billy Bragg, cult author Iain Sinclair, acclaimed contemporary artist Richard Wentworth (who recently had a restrospective at Tate Liverpool), critically acclaimed writer Tobias Hill and artist /designer Susanna Edwards - a close collaborator of Ian Sinclair's.
The event will also include a screeening of Susanna and Iain's new collaborative work in progress 'Lost to View'. This is an Art Happens event organised by The Art Fund.
