Croydon Heritage Festival

The Croydon Heritage Festival is a three week-long calendar of events and activities across the London Borough of Croydon. The public are invited to get involved in a variety of events suitable for all age groups and learn more about what Croydon has achieved and experienced throughout its rich history. The Whitgift Foundation is working in partnership with several local organisations, businesses and schools to provide a broad and exciting variety of activities with a heritage theme for this inaugural festival including a large, historic themed public event in Croydon Town Centre on Saturday 8th June 2013 with plenty to do for all the family.

Events during the festival period will also include photographic exhibitions, period costume and short film competitions and historic tours and expert talks. With promotion taking place across the borough and beyond, the general public will be invited to enjoy the events and learn more about what Croydon has achieved and experienced over the years
