MonologueSlam UK is THE ultimate showcase for actors from all backgrounds and profiles. Following a lengthy audition process, 20 actors are given the opportunity to perform for a welcoming audience and a panel of people in a position to move their careers forward.

MonologueSlam UK is the place to be and attracts some big names including iconic comedian Lenny Henry, Javone Prince (PhoneShop), Aml Ameen (NBC Harry’s Law), Hugh Quarshie (BBC1 Holby City) and Chucky Venn (BBC1 Eastenders).

If you're looking for your big break this is the chance to mingle with some of the industries top directors such as Eric Blakeney (21 Jump Street), Nick Bagnall (Betrayal, Sheffield Crucible), Paulette Randall (Associate Director of the 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony) and Kerry Michael (Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Stratford East).

The event is also well attended by a variety of casting directors like Julia Crampsie (Head of BBC Casting).
