The Crossness Pumping Station features some of the most spectacular ornamental Victorian cast ironwork found in the world today. Highlights of this event include: realistic Meccano models, high quality engineering models and so much more. Kids won't miss out either and will be able to view the Lego train layout. There is something for everyone. See the world's largest working rotative beam engine, 'Prince Consort', steaming throughout the day. As well as some rather impressive scale traction engines in the grounds. Free and easy parking available. There is a cafe and museum shop at the site. Crossness Pumping Station is located approximately 6 miles from Junction 1 of the M25. The nearest rail station is Abbey Wood from where there are frequent bus services. Come along and visit us, it is guaranteed to be a fun day out for the whole family.
